The Department of IT Applied System Engineering allows students to acquire the basic knowledge in their major study such as electricity, electron, and communication as well as the newest technology and application technology Focusing on the connectivity among the major studies, it also conducts systemized design education along with the experiment and practice education.

The educational purposes of the department is especially to produce the best technicians and engineers who have experiences in cutting edge IT conversion technologies, actively respond to the technology, and pursue a creative and promising life with visions for future through allowing them to learn the theoretical backgrounds and practices of field educations including electricity IT, IT converged technology in construction, embedded technology, transportation IT, RFID system, IT for robotic and medical industry.

The Department of IT Applied System Engineering fosters conversion human resources specialized in man-friendly areas in the combined fields of IT and bio technology (BT), nano technology (NT), or energy technology (ET). It also cultivates conversion professional technicians needed for the development of the application technology in industry through leading the IT conversion curriculum and instructing students both theories and practices. With cultivating students as the conversion professional technicians having the knowledge in electronic, electric, communication, and information technology, the department aims for a 100% of employment of graduates.
